  1.     Printing the Summaries                            FILE: FP.HLP

  3.     Printing the reports generated via DBK can be handled one of two 
  4.     ways.   
  5.                                                                             
  6.     Direct -  This means that DBK will send the data to the printer of 
  7.     your  choice.  (See Output for more info on what printer ports are 
  8.     used.)   In this mode, DBK will pause between pages assuming that 
  9.     you need to adjust your printer.  If you print the entire summary 
  10.     (all pages), you  may request continuous printing for tractor fed 
  11.     configurations.

  13.     Indirect -  Another way of printing is to write the results to a 
  14.     .SUM disk file.  Then, after you have left DBK, the file can be 
  15.     sent to the  printer of your choice via DOS.   This method is no 
  16.     faster than the direct method but it does allow you the option 
  17.     of seeing the file before you print it.   This might be desirable if 
  18.     you are running intermediate reviews.  DOS commands for sending the 
  19.     .SUM file to the printer would look like this >  COPY GOLFER.SUM 
  20.     PRN or COPY GOLFER.SUM LPT2 dependent upon which printer 
  21.     was to receive the data.

  23.     Either way, make sure the printer is set for 132 columns.  Use the     
  24.     Main Menu Ut lity option to send a condensing code for most dot 
  25.     matrix printers.   If you have a standard carriage daisy wheel, 
  26.     you may not be able to write DBK reports.
